Thesis Title: Performance Analysis of STAR-RIS assisted NOMA Networks under Vehicular Scenario.
About Research work:
Luxmi Kant is pursuing PhD in wireless communication under the guidance of Dr. Radhika Gour. His research interest areas are non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA), reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS), simultaneously transmitting and reflecting (STAR-RIS), cooperative communication, and vehicle to vehicle (V2V) communication.
Research Field: Ambient Backscatter Communication
Title: Performance analysis of Ambient Backscatter enabled V2V communication systems
under cascaded fading channels.
About Research work:
Ashutosh Rastogi is a research scholar in the Electronics and Communication Engineering
Department at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad, Prayagraj. His research
focuses on Ambient Backscatter Communication (AmBC), particularly analyzing the physical
layer performance of AmBC systems in vehicular environments. He evaluates key performance
metrics such as Outage Probability and Ergodic Capacity to enhance the efficiency and
reliability of AmBC-based vehicular communication networks.

Research Title: Performance Analysis of RIS assisted D2D Communication
About Research work:
Mr. Sriram is conducting the performance analysis of wireless communication systems in the physical layer, by exploring their outage probability, secrecy rates and other parameters. Specifically, the D2D technology is integrated with RIS to minimise interference with an existing cellular link and improve the overall security of the system. This work would highlight the potential role of RIS and its compatibility with D2D in the future of wireless systems.
